Wenalyn Bell Glenn, MSA

Wenalyn S. Bell Glenn is a Leadership Coach on the School Services Team.  Wenalyn is a dynamic coordinator, teacher, innovator, and problem solver with more than 18 years of experience accomplishing goals through effective communication and productive leadership.

Before this role, Wenalyn was opening the door to personalization at Bessemer Elementary as Principal. Wenalyn served as a personalized learning environment facilitator, a middle school ELA teacher, and a literacy coach for Guilford County Schools. Wenalyn has trained 1,700 middle school teachers in best practices and instructional pedagogy; deployed 17,000 Android-based tablets to Guilford County Middle School students to support the 1:1 technology integration; and presented “You Are What You Teach” at the NC DPI Collaborative Conference on Student Achievement on Personalized Learning.

Wenalyn’s passion is committed to building a nurturing, caring, and student-focused educational environment to maximize learning experiences. She was a finalist of the first-ever GCS Assistant Principal of the Year. She graduated from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University and Grand Canyon University. She has a BA in professional English, an MS in secondary English education, and a MSA degree in school administration.
