Keana Winston, MEd, joins P2C’s Professional Development Team as a Senior Educational Consultant. She is an education professional with a background in mathematics and DEI coaching. She has experience as a math content facilitator, district-level math professional development leader, and elementary school teacher. Her experience as a teacher and coach spans working with school systems in Alabama and Mississippi to California.
Keana is passionate about providing teachers with access to meaningful development and students with an equitable, meaningful, and memorable educational experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Before following her calling into education, she worked in public relations as a Chief Strategist and consultant. Keana also has worked in radio broadcasting and news. According to Keana, she draws from her “wide range of work experience, which impacts her perspective on work, seeking to communicate to multiple audiences in a way that is relatable and never thinking inside of the box.”
