As P2C’s Program Manager, Education Services, Kelly Kennedy partners with state departments of education, colleges and universities, districts, schools, and educators to provide technical assistance services, including strategic planning, aligning curriculum and resources, developing communities of practice, and educational coaching. Well-versed in K-12 and higher education best practices, Kelly thrives on fostering the growth and development of learners and educators.
In her 30+ years of education experience, Kelly has served as a teacher, principal, curriculum coordinator, site-based accreditation team member, brain-based learning instructor, and student-teacher supervisor. She planned, opened, and led the Episcopal Collegiate Lower School as its Founding Head. The 74,000 sq ft state-of-the-art school received architectural and educational design accolades, and Kelly was selected as an Arkansas “Woman to Watch,” for her commitment to excellence in education. Governor Mike Beebe designated Kelly an honorary Arkansan for her leadership.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education from Baylor University and her Master of Education in Educational Technology from Texas A&M University. Additionally, she has advanced training in differentiated learning, assessment and data analysis, curriculum alignment and mapping, and faculty evaluation and coaching.
Kelly enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and watching wildlife (particularly Bald Eagles) with her photographer husband. She loves living outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, spending much of her free time in the mountains.
