Samantha Renner, MA & PhD Candidate

Serving on the Product Design & Development Team, P2C’s Math Curriculum Developer II, Samantha Renner focuses on detailed reviewing to proof and edit math curricula and update and improve digital curricula to support teacher and student users.

Sam worked as a mathematics instructor in public education for four years before beginning a PhD program at the University of Northern Colorado. She is currently in the second year of her Applied Statistics PhD program and interns at the University as a Statistics professor and a research consultant. Sam received her BA in Economics from Colorado State University and her MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver. She lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with her significant other and their four pets.

In Sam’s free time, she loves to play board games and video games. In pursuit of this passion, Sam volunteers with the Wyoming Gaming library, a charity that helps provide games and toys to children’s hospitals and schools in Northern Colorado/Wyoming.  Specifically, Sam works on the board game curation committee with this charity to help purchase and maintain the inventory that the charity can take to local events. Sam also loves swimming, reading, painting, traveling, and learning foreign languages.
